Route Sales Driver- Astoria Job Opening in Astoria, Oregon - Sunshine Dairy is a fourth generation, family-owned, independently operated dairy processor who has a commitment to serving local food service customers, food manufacturer partners, retailers and co-pack customers with an uncompromising dedication and commitment to high quality naturally produced products.
We are seeking a Route Sales Driver for the Astoria area. The driver will deliver dairy products to 25+ customers daily, stock and rotate customer coolers and maintain friendly, professional service to customers by promoting new products, increasing current product sales, and maintaining client retention through excellent customer service.
Physical Qualifications & Skills :
Class B drivers license
Competency in driving 26,000 lbs(+) refrigerated trucks
Ability to work 10+ hour shifts, 4 days per week, very early morning hours
Entering and exiting truck?s cab and truck?s freight box approx 25x/day
Ability to lift and maneuver cases of milk weighing 60 lbs to a height of 72 inches at a very quick pace
Ability to maneuver stacks of milk, 6 cases high, down a loading ramp from truck cab level to street level
Competency in completing route delivery invoices
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and company personnel
