Inside Sales Specialist Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - Inside Sales Specialist (Mid-Level)
As an Inside Sales Specialist for Energy Management Corporation, you will work in a consultative based sales environment helping customers solve their VFD, motor, and electrical needs. Much of your time will be spent on the phone with customers helping them solve their electric motor drive needs. A strong focus on customer service and technical expertise is essential for helping our customers. You will be part of a fast growing company with a constantly expanding portfolio of product offerings.
This position is base only. No commissions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Gain a solid understanding of electric motors, VFDs, and the other products and services Energy Management Corporation has to offer.
Using a consultative sales approach, you will qualify inbound and outbound leads and develop customer relationships to convert sales on a global scale.
Work with customers to identify needs, qualify opportunities, and solve problems.
You will use CRM software to track monthly sales and revenue goals.
Work with the outside sales team on key accounts and provide critical support as necessary.
Required:
Strong ability to engage customers over the phone and conduct a consultative sale conversation.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time.
Previous experience with a CRM software platform is desirable (SharpSpring, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
Previous experience selling electrical equipment such as motors and VFDs is desirable.
Past B2B sales experience is preferred.
Education:
Degree in Business, Science or Engineering a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements:
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
