Test Engineer Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Overview:
This job is for a systems engineer in the HEX engine electronics and software development team. * The person will perform manual and automated testing using a Hardware in the Loop test setup. * The person will also troubleshoot test bench setup issues and engine software problems as they arise. * The role involves writing test plans and developing automation to perform the repetitive tasks. * This person will also work closely with the machine electronics team and product group as necessary. * This role will perform a large portion of the validation activities for the HEX application and is responsible for proving the quality of the electronic system and Day
Working in an office (soft lab - test equipment) Completing hands on tests and troubleshooting when needed. * Candidate has the option to work the 9/80 schedule.
Primary Skills:
4 year engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer)
Technical Skills
3+ years Hands on Hardware in the loop (HIL) bench troubleshooting and testing experience Debugging using a multimeter * Diesel engine experience Software strategy understanding Requirements development experience Vector CANape and CANalyzer experience Matlab experience
