Software Engineer Job Opening in Austin, Texas - We are seeking a Software Engineer to integrate company?s wireless mesh software on client service provider?s products. He/she will help scale the business in the USA by integrating the mesh software on various clients? platforms.
The position requires technical depth to understand the solution, ability to customize the solution to the clients? platforms, heavy integration and troubleshooting in multi-vendor environments, and excellent customer relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate, scope, and develop integration solutions for the company?s mesh software specific to client platforms.
Work with several parties (OEM, chipset vendor, client) to drive integration to client acceptance and deployment.
Visit client to support testing and issue investigation as necessary, requiring very close and frequent client interactions.
Travel to vendor or client locations for troubleshooting and detailed problem analysis as required.
Role Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in computer science or engineering or similar field
Networking and WiFi software development experience
Embedded Linux programming experience
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in multi-vendor environments
Experience working on large service provider CPE projects is preferred
Excellent problem analysis and solving skills
Desire and positive attitude to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, rapidly changing environment
Effective communication and documentation skills
US work permit
