JavaScript Developer Job Opening in Patuxent River, Maryland - Disk Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking a Developer (Job Req 99) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full Time (Regular) position located in Patuxent River, MD 20670.

The qualified applicant will become part of DESI's IT Services Group supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in a wide range of leading edge Information Technology products and services supporting the Naval Aviation Enterprise.

Participate in the full range of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to produce web-enable applications using an Agile methodology.
Develop user interface designs and branding of SharePoint sites.
Create, deploy, and maintain responsive SharePoint website designs with master pages, page layouts, themes, and display templates.
Develop, test, and maintain applications using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, JSOM, CSOM, HTML, REST, Bootstrap and/or Knockout framework, Adobe Photoshop, SharePoint Designer, and Visual Studio 2015+
Use SharePoint and SharePoint Designer to create and manage sites, content types, site columns, templates, and workflows.
Develop forms, applications, and workflows within SharePoint using InfoPath and SharePoint designer.
Use Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) to document backlog items and manage workload using an agile approach.
Participate in demonstrations to present solution capabilities to stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:
High School Diploma is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology Management, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years related/relevant experience is required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Three years of experience with JavaScript.
One year experience with SharePoint 2013.
One year experience with SharePoint Designer.
Experience with InfoPath Forms.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and XLST.
Understanding of the document object model (DOM).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Active SECRET clearance (INTERIM required to start).
US Citizenship is Required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Experience with jQuery, JSOM, CSOM, REST, Bootstrap and/or Knockout framework.
Experience with w/ C#
Experience with Visual Studio 2015+
Experience with SQL Server
Relevant Microsoft Certification(s) such as MCSD or MCP.
