Sr. Engineer, Electrical Job Opening in Williston, Vermont - LORD Sensing develops and manufactures high performance sensors for demanding Industrial and aerospace applications. We are looking for a creative, motivated, and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing next generation analog and digital signal conditioning electronics
Develop analog and digital signal conditioning electronics
Work in an Agile engineering team to define, develop and improve sensing systems
Work closely with our mechanical engineering team to ensure that program deliverables are met
Provide project and individual leadership
Participate in defining engineering approaches, as well as planning and scheduling work
Coordinate/prepare appropriate documentation including BOMs, circuit analysis, etc. Develop engineering and technical data to meet compliance to standards
Travel may be Required
Mandatory Requirements:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Five or more years? experience working in an engineering environment
Strong analog and digital circuit design skills
Circuit board level debugging and verification skills
Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture
Working knowledge of software development process for embedded software systems, typically C and C++
Non-Mandatory Requirements:
Experience with Altium Suite of PCB development tools
Experience with IAR
RF communication system design and verification
Work experience with MATLAB
Experience on RTOS, multi-task, real-time software design and development
Experience with ARM Cortex microcontrollers
Experience as a project or task leader
Knowledge of project management techniques
