Business Operations Analyst Job Opening in Stamford, Connecticut - TVR Capital Management has been in business for over a year and the CFO/COO/CCO is now in need of hiring a recent accounting or finance graduate to work under him in an entry level position. This is a rare opportunity for a recent grad to get their foot in the door at potentially lucrative firm.
The firm is a classic hedge fund that began operations in March 2016. TVR Capital is a registered investment adviser and on a fast growth trajectory and structured to be very institutional. We currently have 8 key people and it?s a great time for new person to come onboard working closely with very experienced people. The Portfolio Manager left Point 72 (formerly know as SAC) to create his own firm.
The job description:
Working towards a controller role while assisting and gaining great experience ? will learn the business!
Will assist the CFO, CCO with daily tasks; will have access to trading software and portfolio management tools
Very much involved in all things operational for the firm
Will work closely with the administrators and brokers
Will assist in compliance checking and be assigned various tasks
Qualities:
Very energetic and very motivated to learn and show enthusiasm for the business
Commendable GPA that reflects hard work and pride in achievement
Pleasing personality and good demeanor
