Senior Software Engineer ? Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer will have experience developing web applications and is comfortable working on both the back- and front-end. It is expected that they be able to work with minimal supervision and within the team, able to multi-task and prioritize work, possess excellent problem solving skills, have strong written and verbal communication skills, is customer focused, organized and work onsite at our Fort Atkinson, WI location.
Duties:
Working with the stakeholders to understand and shape requirements
Designing and implementing high-performance, rich web applications
Participating in the design and implementation of custom reporting and data management applications

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 6+ years of Java experience
Minimum 5 years of front-end experience
Good understanding of Linux operating systems and experience deploying to these operating systems
Experience with IBM i (AS400/iSeries) systems and familiarity with the RPG language
Expert knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS (including responsive design)
Competency with other languages, including, Groovy, Python, and PHP
Strong understanding of MVC web/UI frameworks such as Spring and Grails
Expertise in debugging code using debuggers and other tools
Strong command of SQL and relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2
Competency with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Advanced software design skills, including object oriented design
