The test is based on curriculum from Gateway Tech and WCTC(Waukesha Tech),
Starting pay for recent Grads would be $18-19 and more skilled up to around $22/hr
Job Description
The Electronics Test Technician will utilize a variety of test procedures, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics to test and trouble shoot integrated unit level assemblies as well as circuit board assemblies down to the component level. Production Technician role includes the assembly processes for both unit sub assembly and the final integration of unit level assemblies.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform in-circuit and functional test and component level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies. * Assemble, test, and troubleshoot sub-assembly level components. * Integrate, test, calibrate and troubleshoot complex end item avionics assemblies. * Work closely with Test, Systems, Hardware and Software Engineering to resolve issues, improve manufacturability and assure high yields. * Adhere to highest Aviation and Aerospace quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or similar discipline require
Must be able to pass a written Electronics Technician test.
0-3 years of experience in in-circuit, functional test, and component level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies.
Must have knowledge of digital and analog circuitry and be capable of troubleshooting complex assemblies to the component level.
Must understand written work instructions and comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with flying probe (in-circuit), automated and manual functional testing preferred. * 5+ years of experience in in-circuit, functional test, and component level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies.
