Type : 3 Month Contract-to-Hire (evaluation period for full time employment)

Location: Must live within commuting distance to Mason, OH
Summary : ConnXus is seeking a new full-time entry-level QA analyst as part of our software development team. All full-time candidates start under 3 month contract-to-hire period as evaluation for fit. This critical role within team ensures the quality of our software through testing and analysis. Successful candidates will be self motivated individuals with attention to detail and critical thinking skills who are very experienced computer users. Daily responsibilities include managing the QA lifecycle for support tickets and performing test cases on our application interface and API.
Requirements :
Solid understanding of computer usage including desktop software, basic software configuration, data transfer and web technology. Must be proficient in multi-tasking applications.
Ability to do repetitive detailed tasks and the drive to find and help develop solutions to automate those tasks.
Good written and oral communication skills. Must be able to document process quickly and concisely. Must be able to communicate technical details to technical staff and non-technical staff effectively.
Skeptical, detail oriented, and well organized.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual.
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Beneficial Experience/Skills :
Critical thinking and problem abstraction.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how javascript works from an client perspective.
An understanding of testing in the software development process or the ability to quickly learn a new workflow and processes.
Ability to provide improved and innovative solutions to existing testing processes.
Good presentation skills.
Responsibilities :
Ensuring application quality on all major operating systems and web browsers.
Preparation and execution of test cases; record and document results.
Reporting and re-producing defects to developers.
Managing QA of support tickets.
