Senior .Net Developer Job Opening in Columbus, Ohio - The Development group in Battelle's Corporate Information Technology Department is seeking an experienced Developer. Join our group and contribute to the development, deployment, and integration of enterprise IT systems at Battelle. This contract-to-hire position is located in Columbus, Ohio.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with project teams (project managers, business analysts, security engineers, and business partners) to define requirements, design/architect, build/modify, test, and implement data structures, applications, and interfaces to satisfy business needs
Developing estimates and completing assignments on time and within budget
Performing in-depth application testing, including end-user reviews for new and/or modified systems
Providing production support to resolve application, interface, and/or data issues to ensure system availability and responsiveness.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer and Information Systems or equivalent
3 to 5 years of experience developing and supporting systems or demonstrated ability to perform at this level
C# and Framework 4.0 or higher
Web Forms / MVC 4 or higher
Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
SQL Server
Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server
Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology
Software development best practices: Object Oriented Design principles
XML technologies and concepts * Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Must be a U.S. Citizen
