Systems/Application Engineer Job Opening in Fairfax, Virginia - Vigintis LLC is looking for a Systems/Application Engineer in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities included but not limited to:
Provide support for design, development, sustainment, and optimization of application related to foreign system interfaces and medical devices interfaces.
Assist with the design of software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses
Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques
May design operational test and evaluations based on research and analysis
Work on complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of conflicting factors
Establish strong relationships with the stakeholder to ensure their expectations are met
Qualifications:
BS Degree in a technical discipline
US Citizen
5+ years of experience as a systems/application engineer
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in software development methodologies, including testing
Experience in RHAPSODY development
