Accounting Intern Job Opening in Cleveland, Ohio - Enerco Group Inc, seeks a Accounting Intern to assist with month end closes. The internship is part-time. The position will be responsible to collect, process, verify and report accounting related information as well as perform professional analytical and management support projects. Duties may include but are not limited to, developing and/or utilizing spreadsheets for account reconciliation of cash, prepaid, accruals, fixed assets and loans, review and analysis of variances for labor and materials, cost updates, and cash flow analysis. Other financial and/or accounting related tasks are to be performed as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Knowledge of basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis as well as office procedures and practices.
College level math skills
Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret data, either in statistical or narrative form.
Capability to maintain files, records and documentation electronically.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with direct supervisor and co-workers.
Skills are necessary in teamwork, problem solving, entering and verifying data, using computerized systems, various software applications and standard office equipment.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week.
