Senior Staff Accountant
This individual prepares and completes multiple tax and accounting engagements to deliver quality value added services for our clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for career advancement to the right candidate. Experience in industry or advisory services would be extremely helpful.
Job description
Preparation of more advanced federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, trusts, estates and exempt organizations.
Independent preparation of various accounting, financial reporting and advisory engagements.
Demonstrates substantial interest in community involvement enhancing the firm brand and developing new client opportunities.
Builds new and existing client relationships while developing knowledge of client business.
Assists with training and supervising staff multiple clients, meeting budgets and production goals.
Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA Certification preferred.
2-4 years prior experience in public accounting tax or accounting experience.
Industry accounting or advisory experience a plus.
Capable of administering GAAP and tax preparation standards and concepts to client engagements.
Strong accounting and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills: Proficient with Axcess highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented & ability to multi-task.
