PART TIME BOOKKEEPER & ADMIN SUPPORT Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - Specialty travel company seeks a motivated, detail-oriented, and computer-savvy bookkeeper and administrator to help us grow and thrive.
Job Description:
Perform bookkeeping functions including data-entry, bank reconciliations, sending wires & checks, entering payments received, etc.
Job Duties:
Bookkeeping including invoicing, reconciling bank and merchant accounts
A/P and A/R with international vendors and US vendors
Creating journal entries
Entering various forms of payments
Purchasing of office supplies
Carry out year-end accounting duties
Some general office support, including electronic filing, ordering supplies, answering phones, greeting guests, and supporting the rest of the staff.
:
Mastery of general bookkeeping and accounting principles
MUST be fluent in QuickBooks.
Positive and VERY detail oriented
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Great time management
Great verbal and written communication skills
Good working knowledge of computers and systems
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Quick learner
Experience with CRM/database systems such as SmartSheet a bonus
Experience in the travel industry a bonus
Requirements:
Previous experience in both QuickBooks and Excel
Ability to work in our office part time ? approximately 2.5 days per week (This could be several hours each day, or spread over 2-3 days.)
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience
