Patient Billing Job Opening in Leawood, Kansas - Ajilon Healthcare is assisting a client in Kansas City with a Patient Billing job. This is a contract-to-hire job with a large billing office that has more than one opening. They have a high volume of billing on a weekly basis and continue to add to their growing team. They are regularly adding more vendors and need to grow their team to support this. In this job you will be responsible for resubmitting denied claims, investigating denied claims and creating billing invoices. This is a high volume setting! Your ability to work in a busy environment and excel is crucial to success. This job will be $17.00-$18.00/hour.
Patient Billing responsibilities:
Create billing invoices and submit for processing
Review denied or incorrect claims and research to resolve any issues
Communicate regularly with internal and external contacts to determine correct information and get any answers you may need
Help with projects and back up other teams as needed
Qualifications:
You will be successful in this job if you have worked with medical billing for at least three years
Ability to read and explain an EOB to someone who does not understand
If you?re comfortable with high volume billing and have worked with high volume you?ll succeed in this job.
Your ability to communicate with a variety of contacts and have a customer service focused mentality will be crucial for you
Ability to locate small issues and resolve them; detail-oriented
