MACHINIST-SCREW MACHINES Job Opening in los angeles, California - MACHINIST-SCREW MACHINES MACHINIST- Automatic Screw Machines 56 year old manufacturer of high performance Engine Equipment has an immediate opening for a screw machine operator/set up person. Requires 5 years experience setting up and operating cam type screw machines, such as ACME Gridley 9/16RA-6 1" RA-6 1 5/8 RB-6. Duties include, set up, operate machines, load stock,check parts and make adjustments. Must be able to check parts using , sharpen and adjust tools. Must be able to work from drawings and verbal instructions. Must have own hand tools. Requires standing during shift and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must read, write, speak English for job instructions and safety instructions. Day shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. M-F, occasional OT. We offer competitive wages, medical insurance and paid vacations.
