Clinical Manager of Hospice Job Opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma - St. John Hospice is an Ascension at Home company. Our nonprofit hospice provides palliative care and symptom management to patients and families who are facing a life-limited illness. St. John Hospice is the longest-established hospice in Tulsa, with more than 30 years of experience serving the communities of northeastern Oklahoma.
We are seeking a Clinical Director of Hospice for our hospice services in Tulsa, OK. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and manage all clinical activities, assume responsibility for continuity, appropriateness, and ensure a high level quality of service is delivered by the Agency. In addition, a successful candidate will:
Supervise and provide direction and leadership to clinical personnel.
Assess, plan, implements, and supervise patient care.
Participates in the agency QA/PI activities.
Monitor cases to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Mentor employees, provided input for performance evaluations, counsel and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel in conjunction with Manager, and works to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results.
Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of hospice management experience preferred.
Minimum 5 years of hospice experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent computer, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
Proven knowledge of nursing skills performed under accepted nursing standards.
