Inside Sales Rep for Industrial Distribution Job Opening in Boca Raton, Florida - We are an industrial Distribution company that has been in business for over 25 years, focused into the municipal and industrial fire safety sector. We are based in Boca Raton, serving the carribean, central and south american regions for numerous big names manufacturers such as TFT, Scott Safety, Good Year, Hale and Sutphen.
We are looking for a candidate to:
Respond to Request for Quotes by providing pricing and lead time
Develop and maintain customer relationships, including addressing customer complaints, providing feedback on in-process orders, and follow up of quotes.
Able to balance competing priorities, projects, and live customer calls.
Show continual professional development in industry, sales abilities and time management.
Generate sales leads
Follow up on customer bids
Follow up on past customers to source any needs they require
Work on Government bidding system
The required for this job:
Bachelors from an accredited 4 year University
2-3 years import/export experience; knowledge of fire safety sector is a plus
Experience with Quickbooks
Advanced knowledge of microsoft office
A clear understanding of how to develop a relationship with customers
conversational Spanish; fluency is preffered
(optional) Experience with government bids is a plus
Required Skills:
Sales Techniques - understanding of sales methods, tools and concepts (e.g., sales promotions and cross-selling).
Communication - Ability to communicate ideas, data both verbally and written, in a persuasive and appropriate manner. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Relationship Building - Ability to make and maintain client and prospect contact.
Organization - Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of appointments, sales calls, follow-up calls, samples, etc.
Time Management - Ability to set priorities and workflow to accomplish day to day tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
