Analyst Programmer, 37.5 hours a week, work/life balance is... Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - We are looking for an Analyst Programmer to join our team. Carpenters Trusts is a non-profit benefits administration organization dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to its members.
Our IT department of five has an average tenure of 11 years. Our staff appreciate our Monday-Friday typical 37.5 work week schedule, casual business attire (jeans ok) and great medical benefits (employer premium paid, 90/10 plan). We are walkable distance to Westlake Center in Seattle (public transportation hub) and allow flexible scheduling.
You would accomplish the mission of Carpenters Trusts by gathering business requirements to design and develop software and computer systems. An average day would include writing computer programs and updating/repairing existing programs.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in related field, and five (5) years of experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar classification; or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of programming concepts with experience in modern programming languages
Proficient with: Developing applications using Microsoft , Microsoft SQL Server database management, Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), Network Solutions Automate, and Microsoft products and development tools.
Skilled at analyzing information and establishing software requirements.
Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively to resolve them.
Business analyst experience required.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Flexibility in job assignments and tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt to different aspects of the organization.
Preferred:
Experience with Benefits Administration.
Experience using Crystal Reports.
