Practice Manager, pediatric office Job Opening in Torrington, Connecticut - Busy 4 site physician owned Pediatric group in Northwest Connecticut is looking for an experienced, forward looking Pediatric Practice Manager to help navigate our continued growth and implementation of incentive based reimbursement strategies. A successful candidate will have the following:
1. A Bachelor?s Degree and/or Certified Practice manager designation. Special consideration will be given to an applicant with a MBA degree.
2. Experience as an office manager or similar administrative role in a healthcare practice. Special consideration will be given to candidates with previous experience with primary care practices, PCMH, Meaningful Use, and successful strategies for improving provider productivity.
3. Business acumen and knowledge of clinical care delivery to assist in the development and execution of strategies for growth and improvement.
4. Demonstrated experience managing daily patient flow.
5. Previous experience providing direct supervision ? including training and assigning and tracking accountability.
6. Superior communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with clinical and administrative staff, and patients.
7. An aptitude for collecting, analyzing and presenting data and comfort making defensible, evidence-based decisions
8. Experience making value-added contributions to enterprise-level projects
9. Skill with E.H.R. and practice management technology and mastery of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
10. Skill in exercising initiative, judgment and discretion to help achieve organization objectives.
11. A resourceful, problem-solving attitude
