Jr. Web Developer / Technical Support Rep Job Opening in Colorado Springs, Colorado - We are looking for an entry-level web developer to join our team.
We develop and sell a cloud based security management interface to security alarm dealers. This service is a web and mobile based application which provides dealers? customers an interface to manage and control their security systems. This is an exciting application which is one-of-a-kind for the security industry. We have constant enhancement requests and additional hardware integrations to develop into the service.
Along with software development, we also have a need for technical support and technical writing. This will involve assisting with to support requests as well as creating/updating support manuals.
Skills necessary include PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery. Knowledge of Ruby, MySQL, TCP/UDP Sockets, and Linux experience is a plus.
Applicant must be reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and commute to northern Colorado Springs for an initial training period (approx. 1 month), plus additional training as required, otherwise accommodate a business-like environment working from home. We will provide an IP SIP-based phone for communications. We will also host a development environment for testing however applicant will be required to provide their own computer.
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
