Summary: Working under the direction of the IT Director, performs activities and services relating to Software Application Development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are intended to represent the principal elements of this position. They are not totally inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities:
Identify requirements by establishing personal rapport with associates to understand service requirements.
Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
Programs the computer by converting project requirements in computer language; entering program code into the computer.
Confirms program functions per requirements by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or code.
Writing and maintaining user documentation; maintaining a help desk.
Maintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems.
Providing user training and perform post install support and monitoring tasks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Analyzing Information, Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Software Requirements, Software Development Process
Must have a commitment to high quality software delivery and customer satisfaction.
Experience using rapid application development and deployment environment for mission critical business applications.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Willingness to learn the company?s rapid application development environment and toolset.
Willing to work in a small team environment.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor?s Degree is in Computer Science or related field required.
Minimum 1+ year designing and developing applications in a professional environment.
Prior work experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution industry is a plus.
