Senior Accountant Job Opening in Berlin, New jersey - New Jersey based manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant. Recently made public, and growing organization with several opportunities for advancement. The Senior Accountant will drive deadlines and ensure the financial management if effective and efficient.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee general ledger entries
Book month-end and facilitate close process
Assist with cost analysis to determine profitability
Work directly with internal and external audits
Gather and examine AP, AR, and Payroll reports
Reconcile balances and monthly financial statements
Identify areas for improvement, and suggest solutions
Senior Accountant Requirements:
4+ years of Account experience
Bachelors Degree preferred
Ability to work with multiple departments and multi-task
Meet deadlines and drive efficiency
Proficiency in Excel required, understanding of JD Edwards highly preferred
