Bookkeeper Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - A regional distributor of structural steel, Commercial Pipe, Valves, & Fittings located in South Baltimore just blocks from M&T Bank Stadium is looking for a Bookkeeper for our Accounting team.
Bachelor?s degree (recent college graduates considered) or will substitute 3 years of hands on bookkeeping experience Hands on experience should include maintaining a general ledger through preparation of interim and annual financial statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
We are looking for a team player that has prior experience with using accounting software packages. The ideal candidate should have a strong interpersonal and superior oral and written communication skill and possess problem solving skills. Must have the ability to perform accounting analysis and prepare appropriate journal entries to facilitate compilation of monthly consolidated financial statements and be proficient in MS Office suite.
