Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in San Antonio, Texas - We Rent it, an equipment rental and retail sales company with 6 locations across Texas, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our growing organization. We sell and rent telescoping booms, scissor lifts, forklifts, compaction equipment, crawler dozers, hydraulic excavators, skid steer loaders, backhoes, air compressors, paving breakers, light plants, water pumps, generators, concrete finishing tools, and more. Both construction professionals and do-it-yourself homeowners in Texas turn to We-Rent-It for tools, equipment and construction supply needs.
The Outside Sales Representative reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for generating new revenue in retail equipment sales with existing We Rent It customers as well as identifying and winning new business within assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
Generate rental and sales in assigned territory
Generate new accounts, develop and maintain current accounts
Territory management, cold calling & jobsite visits
Product knowledge of equipment and construction supplies
Prepare sales presentations and quotes for customers
Required Skills:
3-5 years sales experience in equipment rental or heavy equipment sales required
Previous experience working in the equipment and/or construction industries preferred
Working knowledge of Spanish preferred
English fluency required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills including MS Office
Strong time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of construction phases
Professional business appearance
People-oriented, self-motivated, sales driven, team player
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 21+ years of age
