Systems Software Engineers at Zeppelin Systems USA, Inc. work to maintain, upgrade and customize our Production Information System Management Applications (PRISMAŽ) systems for Formula Management, Production Scheduling, Lot Tracking, Batch Logging, Inventory, Usage and other data handling tasks using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server.
Engineers also work to help program and configure Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition/Human Machine Interface software for animated process equipment graphics and alarms.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other 4 year software design/computer programming related degree
3-7 years of experience with , VB6, VBA, C# and other script languages
Microsoft Certification MCTS SQL Server Implementation and Maintenance, Database Development or above is required with 90 days of employment
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel 20-30% within NAFTA region to work with clients
Preferred Requirements:
Experience related to industrial automation software, SCADA systems, industry standards such as OPC
Familiarity with automation vendor?s software (Rockwell, GE, Invensys etc.), programmable automation controllers and industrial networking
