Engineerica Systems Inc. is a software development company based in beautiful Winter Park, FL. The company was founded in 1994 by four UCF alumni. Engineerica specializes in cloud-based and mobile device systems.
Due to continuing growth, we have immediate openings for a skilled and motivated Support Technician.
DUTIES
Main duties include:
Providing customer support via phone, email, and online.
Conducting online software walkthroughs.
Conducting software training sessions.
Following up with clients to ensure they are using the system as expected.
Other Duties may include:
Updating and developing the user's documentation.
Conducting software testing.
Developing instructional videos.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate or enrolled to obtain a college degree in IT or related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Intimate knowledge of computers, software, Windows OS, and networking basics.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to travel within the US to provide on-site training when needed.
Must reside within 20 miles of our office in Oviedo, FL
DESIRED
Recent experience in providing software support to end users is desired.
Work experience in educational institution such (e.g. at a computer lab or tutoring center).
Familiarity with database tools like Microsoft SQL Server or Access.
Experience in writing user's guides.
