Lead SaaS Front-End Developer Job Opening in Boston, Massachusetts - Boston Data Group is looking for a SaaS Platform Development Lead to join our team. The qualified candidate will be motivated to work with cutting edge technologies and thrive on solving problems. You will work with innovators in the early stages of ideas, products and platforms.
Our team will be building the next generation solution around new and emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Data Science and distributed cloud computing. You will be required to understand the customers? problems. You will use the latest technologies from Mobile to Cloud while creating SaaS products/solutions for our customers.
Team members will be smart, fun, self-starters, familiar with the latest technologies and driven to stay current with emerging technology. We encourage collaboration and creativity, putting an emphasis on communication and team work.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, front-end, responsive UX using SaaS based technologies
Leverage existing open source technology where appropriate
Solve tough design and architectural problems
Be flexible in our fast-paced environment
Work well on product teams with Quality Engineers and Product Owners
Be creative and willing to take risks
As a technical leader on the team we also need you to mentor other team members and lead by setting a great example
Requirements:
Strong developer enjoys writing code and tests
Strong front-end programming language experience: Javascript, node, etc.
Experience with web technologies: HTML, JSP, XML, JSON, CSS, etc.
Experience with SaaS scalable technologies
Experience with CI tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Puppet or Chef
Hands-on experience working in agile software delivery teams
Thrive in a fast-paced ?START UP? environment
Strong analytical and organizational skills, and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or any equivalent.
5+ years? experience in software engineering including experience as a technical lead
