Job Description :
The Consumer Electronics Product Engineering organization at the Company has an exciting opportunity for a digital signal processing (DSP) engineer. If you are interested in a career in audio digital signal processing, check this out:
The Audio Engineering team combines the talents of acoustics engineers and DSP engineers to create great sounding products that delight their customers. During a product development cycle a DSP engineer works closely with an acoustics engineer to ensure the product achieves the desired acoustic performance. The DSP engineer is responsible for making the necessary audio algorithms run efficiently on the embedded DSP target and assisting the acoustics engineer with the final tuning of the product.
As a Senior DSP Engineer you will provide technical leadership to other engineers and will have to interface with their electronics and software development teams to ensure their products maintain the high quality audio the customers expect. You will also be supporting their rapid-prototyping platforms for audio product development. These platforms typically consist of vendor-supplied DSP development kits along with their own custom MATLAB toolboxes which allow their team to quickly demonstrate and evaluate novel real-time audio system implementations.
