We are seeking a developer on a contract-to-hire basis to serve as the primary front-end developer for a new web-based SaaS platform in the shipping and logistics industry. This is a very important role, with great impact on the product and plenty of opportunity to grow with the organization. This individual will be responsible for delivering top-notch UX for a customer-focused product with heavy emphasis on creating a friendly, reliable, and responsive interface ? a mission that is critical to the success of the product.
Backed by an established, successful logistics company with over 30 years in the industry, this product represents a new approach to commercial online shipping, with significant potential for long-term growth. The Front-end Developer will be a key part of the organization?s maturation, so we are seeking someone with great communication skills and a go-getter attitude to help establish a winning culture within the new organization.
Education & Certification
Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in software development in a professional environment
Knowledge & experience with modern front-end javascript frameworks
Requirements
Experience with React/Redux
HTML5, CSS, Sass, SCSS
Experience working collaboratively with peer developers
Adept at working in an Agile environment
Significant experience working with APIs (both with 3rd party and writing proprietary ones)
Outstanding communication skills
