Territory Sales Representative Job Opening in Detroit, Michigan - Essential Functions:
Qualifying prospects, pipeline management, customer evaluation and procurement.
Successfully manage current customer activity and source new sales opportunities.
Effectively communicates in a professional sales manner, with strong listening and speaking skills.
Function as the Key Account ?driver? ? directing territory?s sales, marketing and service efforts.
Understands in sufficient detail the product specifications, capabilities, features and a strong understanding of the applicable product market.
Account and sales process management, including budget forecasting and achievement of sales quotas.
Grow market share, customer data base, customer satisfaction and the Company brand.
Effectively schedules all work to meet current objectives and long-term performance.
Participate in/provide input to planning meetings, as required.
Ability to perform travel to meet sales and customer relation objectives.
Ability to move heavy products for proper demonstration and/or delivery.
Keeps manager informed of activities and results.
Ability to communicate/educate individuals and small groups on products, including proper use and service.
Ensures consistent compliance to all company policies and procedures.
Sufficient computer competence to effectively complete related responsibilities.
Participates in development of sales goals and objectives.
Provides positive image and plays a supportive role, in the implementation and execution of change.
Additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of three (3) or five (5) years of medical device sales related experience preferred.
Self-motivation required.
Effective planning skills with the ability to plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action plans to achieve results.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
Able to travel overnight.

Salary: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
