Roles and Responsibility:
This position will work as part of a larger development team focused on driving innovation across the whole application.
Write top notch C# code in the multi-tiered environment.
Attend sprint meetings with team members to define and analyze development requirements and provide work breakdown and estimates of work. * * Code software changes based on design specifications. Proactively resolve issues in the specification that will lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues in the product * * Perform thorough unit testing on all relevant platforms as is appropriate for the particular task/project. * * Regularly inform manager on progress of the project, identifying risks early in the process. * * Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Designers to ensure understanding of business requirements. * * Demonstrate the self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources.
required experience:
2 -4 years experience in C#,NET development, C++, virtual environments. * Understanding of OOP\OOD principals and implementation. * * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and presentation Qualifications: - * * Hands-on experience with Web Services/WSDL/WCF, SOA. * * Experience with the following technologies: XAML (Silverlight, WPF), Winforms, NET Framework, C++/C, SQL. * * Experience with Infragistics or other 3rd party control tools. * Familiar with Agile-Scrum methodology and practices. * * Recent experience within the Financial Industry trading systems and fixed income.
