Job Description:
The Quality improvement Director functions under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. The Quality Improvement (QI) Director is responsible for coordinating all aspect of quality for Ampla Health. The QI Director's roles include Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement & Risk Management, and is responsible for total Quality Management, Clinical Care Quality, State and Federal regulatory reporting, patient safety/culture of safety, disease management, and policies and strategies to ensure that Ampla Health quality goals are met. Conduct department and peer review process, track records, ownership for measurable results, including; Hedis expectations, patient experience, employee engagement, quality improvement, physician alignment and performance. Develop and implementation of policy and practices.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and 2 years as a Nursing Supervisor.
Registered Nurse License issued by State of California.
Demonstrates understanding of rural nursing, knowledge of law and regulations governing
the delivery of rural health services in the State of California.
Possess qualities of leadership and ability to maintain positive working relationship with management and staff.
