We are currently looking to add Part-time Resident Services Coordinators (Receptionist) to our staff in Huntsville, Alabama. Evening shift 4:30 pm - 10 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday; Morning shift 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Saturday & Sunday. You must be able work Day or Evening shift.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Hospitality, Customer Satisfaction and Resident Relations are the most important responsibilities in this very visible position. In this key role, the Resident Services Coordinator and Receptionist interact in a very positive, courteous and friendly manner with all guests, residents and employees of the community in a variety of ways. By communication clearly and promptly with residents, families, staff and management, The RSC and Receptionist will be responsible for answering a multi-line telephone system, announcing arrival of guests, taking service requests and providing information of general nature. This position is also responsible for communicating resident issues to other department managers and following up for resident satisfaction as well as providing administrative support role to all departments as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
The following responsibilities have been incorporated into this position. This list is not necessarily all-inclusive and other special tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Attending to Resident needs and issues as they arise; communicating with appropriate departments to ensure a timely
Follow-up on resident issues with Resident to ensure customer satisfaction,
Respond appropriately and according to protocol to the Emergency Alert Pendant System (Cisor).
Support a friendly, hospitable and welcoming environment for all residents and their families upon their arrival at Community.
Support a friendly, team-spirited working environment with employees.
Guide and direct employees who need to access Administration for Payroll or HR issues to appropriate individuals who can resolve their concerns or issues; maintain confidentiality of Employee information.
Politely and promptly answer telephone calls.
Manage and direct all incoming calls to appropriate personnel. Screen call as required and follow established procedures in responses and relaying information.
Maintain confidentiality of Resident information.
Assist in the reservation of Guest Suites; coordinate with proper departments.
Schedule Doctor?s visits and other events upon Resident request.
Communicate Resident billing information to Accounting personnel on a monthly basis.
Maintain nay assigned manuals on a timely basis.
Communicate all concerns or observations of Residents to proper department manager.
Prioritize work and maintain a professional image.

Education Requirements, Experience and Competencies:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and;
Up to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally oral and written correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Must be fluent in the English language.
Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Specifically Word and Excel.
Demonstrated knowledge of Windows WP and email communications.
Demonstrates general office skills in the use of basic office equipment (fax, copier, scanner).
