Part-Time Structured Education Coordinator Job Opening in austin, Texas - Part-Time Structured Education Coordinator Family and sexual violence program has a part-time Structured Education Coordinator position available. Qualified candidates will have experience providing interactive presentations to a wide range of audiences and working with children of all ages, at-risk populations as well as men and boys. Resumes should be CUT AND PASTED INTO AN EMAIL sent to or by fax at . ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Coordinate services to area elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and universities. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ?Coordinate/conduct structured education programs in the school districts of Williamson County. ?Maintain and expand school administration contacts, structured education curriculum, and structured educational services to children, adolescents, and adults. ?As staff back-up to provide intake, case management, crisis counseling, follow-up and referrals in-person and on the hotline to primary and secondary victims. Meet with clients in office, shelter, hospital, police station, schools and other locations as needed. ?Work with other agencies, including but not limited to acting as the liaison for all educational agencies in order to serve the best interests of clients. ?Assist with the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers/interns. ?Assist with the collection and maintenance of client data for statistical and programming purposes. ?Report any incident of child or elder abuse to the Department of Public and Regulatory Services and appropriate WCCC staff. ?Attend all scheduled staff and team meetings. ?Assist with community education efforts and other duties as assigned by Chief Executive Officer. SPECIAL SKILLS AND EDUCATION: ?Acceptance of and respect for agency philosophy, mission and values. ?Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as communications, business administration, or human services. ?Two years experience working with children and adolescents. ?Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences. ?Experience and ability to respond in a supportive way to people in crisis. ?Familiarity with the network of social services including children?s services, welfare, mental health, and criminal justice agencies in the Williamson County area. ?Experience in independent job structuring. ?Ability to work as a team member, providing support as well as constructive feedback in interpersonal interactions. ?Sensitivity to various cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds, values, attitudes, and languages. ?Demonstrated experience and excellent skills in interpersonal communication, public speaking, and staff development. ? ?Adequate personal health, social maturity, and emotional stability to fulfill the functions of the position. ?Ability to relate to other agencies and departments, including law enforcement, as well as to supervise and support staff and volunteers. ?Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Publisher. austin tx texas Phone:
