Senior Java Developer - New York, NY Job Opening in New York, New York - I am seeking a Senior Java Developer ? Real-time Trading Systems for our client, a major financial services company located in downtown Manhattan. As a member of the team, you will be:
- developing a high volume, real-time trading application with both API and GUI interfaces.
- working closely with groups involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from writing specifications to quality assurance.
- using advanced technology to fulfill real-world requirements and push the state of the art.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science.
- Five years of Java experience.
- No previous financial background necessary.
Candidate must have expertise and deep understanding of:
- data structures.
- algorithms.
- multithreading.
- database design.
- core Java.
And be comfortable with:
- Java Swing.
- SQL.
- UNIX/Linux and Windows.
Nice to have: proficiency with:
- Spring
- Ant
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
