Position Summary
The Contract Administration Specialist ? Expense is specifically responsible for reviewing all expense agreements, which provide the rights to build out a revenue project.
Essential Job Functions
Interact closely with the Network Real Estate (NRE) team and district teams on contractual needs.
Monitor the Business Process Management (BPM) workflow to ensure that all contract execution requests are actioned timely.
Review contractual terms within jurisdictional contracts, utility contracts, building access agreements, fiber agreements, and other expense type contracts for non-standard terms and conditions. Establish a firm understanding of underlying contingencies and how they impact legal interest.
Verify contractual relationship to revenue projects. Ensure that expense is properly reflected, within the project?s Return on Investment (ROI).
Proactively engage SCFS functional partners to resolve contractual discrepancies.
Create execution summaries to highlight non-standard terms and conditions.
Ensure contracts are executed.
Request setup of JD Edwards records to ensure that all obligations are commenced in a timely manner.
Manage contract renewals and expirations on a regular basis.
Forecast and manage deliverable timelines, including resolving issues to ensure targets are achieved.
Meet production and quality assurance goals.
Respond in a timely and professional manner to inquiries.
Develop and maintain successful business relationships with internal/external customers.
Partner with internal or external business teams communicating standard processes.
Participate in special projects including, but not limited to, process development, process documentation, system enhancements, and new business integration.
Keep the Manager - Contract Execution well informed of all contract issues.
Provide excellent customer service throughout all activities and interfaces.
Demonstrate the flexibility needed to adjust to changes in the work environment as well as being a contributing team member.

High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
Notary public preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
Five (5) or more years of experience in real estate leasing/licensing
Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of contracts and nature of compliance obligations
