Then, BOY, do we have a position for you! Growing outdoor/education company located in the greater Los Angeles area is seeking exceptional After School Coaches and Substitutes to join our outstanding staff in the mid-Wilshire area. The successful candidates will work with other outstanding team members to administer our unique after school program. The successful candidates should be experienced, personable, well organized, detailed oriented, willing to travel, and have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. In addition, the specifics are: Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: � Reports to and supports Director in administrative and programming duties. � Responsible for curriculum development, monthly calendars, materials purchasing and budgets, behavior management, newsletters, and parent boards. � Observes Director to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of site duties. May be required to attend company-sponsored training classes, meetings and mandatory district training. Qualifications: � Demonstrated involvement and commitment to the youth community. � Experience (volunteer/paid) working with youth. � Good administrative and supervisory skills. Education Requirements: Check the minimum level of formal education that is required to perform this job satisfactorily. X High School Diploma or GED X Vocational School or some college courses � Associate�s Degree, Trade or Technical School � Bachelor�s Degree � Master�s Degree � Doctoral Degree List specific examples of degree(s), area(s) of study, and/or licensure(s), denoting (R) if required or (P) if preferred Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience: List specific examples, denoting (R) if required or (P) if preferred Demonstrated involvement and commitment to the youth community. R Experience (volunteer/paid) working with youth. R Good administrative and supervisory skills. R Demonstrated knowledge of workshop activities and curriculum. R Experience teaching enrichment content to youth.
