CCTV Technician Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - GIS and CCTV Technician/Operator
Hydromax USA, a leading national pipeline assessment company, is hiring qualified field for Closed Circuit Television Inspection operations. Prior experience is preferred but not a requirement. After successful completion of a 6-8 week hands on training program, certified technicians can expect assignment to one of the inspection units and transition from a training position to a lead GIS Technician with appropriate salary adjustment.
Hydromax USA, provides field services for data collection to assess the condition of buried water and wastewater facilities using the newest technologies. This position is consistent, year round full time non-construction employment using robotics, GPS, GIS and other technologies in both interior and exterior environments. Expected work hours are normally 50 hours plus per week and travel may be required. Advancement opportunities available for well-organized individuals demonstrating management capabilities. Candidates need to enjoy interacting with the community, the general public, and numerous municipal organizations.
A typical day consists of downloading GIS mapping assignments; travel to various locations in a metro area in company vehicles; using GPS, locating technology and robotic cameras, with integration of proprietary software platforms to conduct public safety utility inspections of buried wastewater and sewer pipelines. Continuing education sessions, on a typically weekly basis, are scheduled during work hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete work in an efficient manner and meet target completion dates
Adhere to all company and industry safety and quality policies
Inspect underground wastewater piping systems with robotic and manually operated specialized CCTV equipment
Utilize underground locating equipment to identify buried natural gas and sewer pipelines
Process data accurate and timely
Most work in outdoor environments in residential, commercial and/or industrial settings
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Desire to work over 40 hours/week, which may include Saturdays
Regional travel maybe required depending on location
Valid Driver?s License
Must be proficient with computers
Must be able to pass drug screen
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Previous experience related to natural gas, water, sewer, cross bore, or wastewater is a plus
NASSCO (LACP, PACP, MACP) Certifications are a plus
