Plant Controller Job Opening in Welcome, North carolina - Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and six to ten years of related experience with three plus years in a position of leading and directing the accounting, payable and receivable functions
SUMMARY
Directs financial activities of an organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Must have proven communication and leadership capabilities directing others. Strong systems background with ability to recommend and implement process improvements. Interest in hands-on approach directing the day to day accounting functions for the Welcome operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares reports monthly which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Directs preparation of budgets.
Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
Responsible for supporting 6 sigma and manufacturing engineering with financial guidance.
Improve processes (all departments) to obtain ?Zero Defects?
Directs cost management system.
Arranges for audits of company's accounts.
Manages the integrity of the financial reporting system.
Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
Maintains process for reconciling payroll and labor data.
Monitors margins, closeouts, and variances
Performs all other assigned duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
