Role:
The SQL Server Database will work on an agile team to collect requirements and design a solution in order to modernize the client?s management information system. This individual will design a 2008 to 2016 SQL Server Database upgrade plan including conversion and integration with SharePoint based on client requirements. The candidate must be able to communicate with management, technicians and end-users. The developer will be working in an agile process, support story development, backlog grooming and responses to ad-hoc client priorities.
Responsibilities:
Conducts upgrade of SQL Server database initially from 2008 to 2016
Designs an enterprise architecture for the management information system.
Application of appropriate STIG
Establishes quality control and auditing processes of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
Designs, implements and maintains complex databases .
Performs database programming and supports system designs.
Designs, develops and normalizes database schema.
Required Qualifications:
Microsoft SQL Server Database Certification in version 2016
Must have MCSE in Data / Business Intelligence
5+ years of relevant experience in software development, with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or other Technical degree preferred
1+ years of experience designing and deploying SQL Server 2016 database and Reporting Service experience
5+ years of experience as Database Administrator for SQL Server
Desired Skills:
Experience with the following technologies: core, HTML 5, Bootstrap
