Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Assistant/Intern Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Seeking applicants to work out of our Northgate office and serve clients in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties. Position starts at part time during a 6-8 week training period due to intensive learning curve. After training period, wage increases and counselor moves to billable hour. Will Train.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS Required per WAC.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Computer skills required including MS Word and very basic Excel. Will train on proprietary case management software.
- Excellent writing and communication skills required.
This is a support position doing casework for certified counselors. Job does require some local travel in the above referenced counties to meet clients at colleges, meet with their physician and legal representatives, and to meet with a variety of employers. Upon completion of internship plus certification, you will be eligible for your own case load. Excellent healthcare benefits, dental, and retirement. Interviews begin immediately.
