Public Relations Intern Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Raffetto Herman Strategic Communications (RH Strategic) is hiring a public relations intern to support our team in Seattle and enjoy of our newly renovated workspace with views of the Elliott Bay and the Cascade Mountains. RH Strategic is a rapidly growing PR agency working with innovative companies in technology, healthcare, and public-sector markets. This is a paid, three-month, full-time internship. We are eager to find a proactive and energetic individual who wants to gain experience in the field of public relations. The role will include opportunities to work on account teams, complete tasks critical to media relations, media engagement and learn in a boutique agency environment with brands that are changing the way people and businesses collaborate, communicate, and operate.
Our ideal candidate is available for full-time work (40 hours/week) and has a college degree with a focus in communications, public relations or a related field. Having completed a previous PR agency internship is a plus. Candidates should have a strong sense of team and equally strong communication and organizational skills, and most importantly, a desire to learn.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Previous PR agency internship experience is strongly preferred.
Practical understanding of media relations, social media and the public relations profession.
Experience working within multiple teams and individuals.
Organized and capable of managing multiple projects.
Understanding and respect for deadlines.
Good people and communication skills. A proactive demeanor and desire to jump in for all-hands-on-deck needs.
Ability to conquer learning curves quickly to understand and communicate challenges and propose solutions.
Confident and talented writer. Newswriting and/or PR writing is preferred.
