The Administrator will be thoroughly committed to Andelcare's mission. Reporting to and under the direction of the General Manager and President Puget Sound Operations, the Administrator will have operational responsibility for the implementation of the organizational mission and values, the management of the primary team, complete regulatory compliance, implementation of the corporate policies and procedures, and meeting the budgetary guidelines and revenue generation, as defined by the company goals. We are on a strong grow trajectory and the Administrator will lead all business development efforts.
This is a fast past job requiring a forwarding thinker, self-starter, and a passion to provide the absolutely best support and life enrichment to our Senior clients. The candidate for this position must possess creative, problem-solving capabilities. Having a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Administration is preferred with experience in a Assisted Living Community or Home Care Agency. LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT :
Assures compliance with all home care regulations, human resource regulations, medication services, etc., and assure our policy and procedure books are up to date. Writes policies and procedures and submits to the General Manager for approval prior to implementation. Ensures all staff are knowledgeable and compliant to company policies and procedures and that they are accessible for review.
Assures all company are reviewed annually to allow timely recommendations to the General Manager for changes or continuance of Assures that all RN Delegator contractors maintain current Washington State, unencumbered license and liability insurance.
Assures all client agreements and services are delivered according to the home care services agreement, keeping the General Manager aware of all issues. Works closely with the bookkeeper to keep all client accounts current.
Assures all employees, under Administrative supervision, follow their job descriptions and are performing within the scope of their job. Educates and motivates employees to the company principles and mission.
Utilizes techniques and tools of project management to plan and manage projects to completion within targeted time frames. You submit project plans, as requested, to the General Manager for discussion.
Oversees the management and fiscal affairs of the company within budgeted guidelines and obtains approval from the General Manager for any expenditure over $ 200.
Monitors data and reports to ensure optimal operations. Provides development and oversight to the Quality Assurance Program.
Timely communicates to the General Manager all potential issues that may affect the company. Shares with the General Manager any opportunities for business growth.
DEVELOPMENT:
Provides leadership to meet and exceed current billable hour goals.
Develops a referral source base, as directed by General Manager, and makes frequent contact to generate appropriate clients to our company.
Receives and manages all inquiries for new business, turning qualified inquiries into clients 90% of the time. Maintains matrix for tracking and follow-up.
Works closely with HR Manager to assure recruitment, staffing and scheduling needs are maintained to meet census demands and scheduling policies. Provides backup support for HR Manager for scheduling duties.
Conducts effective communication with existing clients to support customer satisfaction and appropriately solve any customer concerns effectively and expeditiously. Serves as a liaison between company, personnel, contractors, and volunteers.
Develops and maintains a positive corporative image in the communities we serve. Serves as an active member of affiliated organizations that will be a referral source for our company. Reviews and approves all information available to the public, regarding operations and services.
RISK MANAGEMENT:
Conducts the administrative intake for all clients.
Manages the Customer Satisfaction Program.
Manages the Worker?s Compensation program, minimizing claims and managing open claims. Works closely with the HR Manager to develop an effective Worker?s Safety Program that promotes minimizing risk and injury to our company?s employees.
Educates new staff to the company background, principles of service and mission. Audits new Personnel Records for Release to Field process.
Assures all client Reportable Events are investigated and managed appropriately.
OTHER:
Rotates into on call schedule, and is available for company emergencies and interventions.
Works closely with the General Manager in planning and implementing the successful future of the company.
Supports office staff by answering phones and delivering messages, performing inquiry intake, and documenting client/caregiver?s reports of concerns.
Reviews client care plans and supervisory visits, contributing ideas and suggestions for improvement.
Provides the final check and balance (Triple Check) of Payroll, reporting to the General Manager and preliminary payroll concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum 4 years of senior management experience; 4-year degree in related healthcare field preferred.
Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed. Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning.
Can successfully utilize Project Planning Skills.
Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget.
Strong marketing and public relations experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
Quality programs and data-driven program evaluation.
Meets basic company employment criteria.
Operates with a sense of urgency
