Financial Planner Job Opening in Secaucus, New jersey - We currently have 15+ contract opportunities at EY (Ernst & Young) for a Financial Planner & Counselor role that includes the opportunity for PAID TRAINING TO PREPARE YOU TO TAKE THE SERIES 65 .
Those hired will apply exceptional customer service skills in educating and providing objective financial planning guidance and counseling ( not sales ) to clients, primarily via phone in a call center environment.
No related experience required - In this position, the successful candidate will gain extensive training with the latest technology. You'll be a member of a growing team that provides financial counseling to many organizations and employees nationwide. This position also offers a flexible, professional and team-oriented working culture that fosters both financial planning and personal development.
Responsibilities: Primarily via phone in a call center environment, provide financial counseling on a number of topics including retirement planning, education funding, benefit plans, and tax planning, and build relationships with clients without selling products.
To qualify, candidates must have :
Bachelor?s degree (concentration in accounting, finance, economics or a related field preferred)
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
Strong customer service skills
High written and verbal communication proficiency
A commitment to learning in a tax and financial planning technology environment
Proficiency in technology applications
Ability to obtain the Series 65 license within a reasonably mandated period of time
Availability to work BOTH early (8a-5p) shift and late (11a-8p) shift
