Company Controller (Real Estate & Construction) Job Opening in Lakewood, New jersey - Requirements:
Experience working in accounting for a real estate development or construction company (5 yrs.)
Bachelor?s Degree in accounting; CPA a plus.

Manage accounting department of 2-3 staff members, including, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
Manage the monthly closing process, journal entries, and adjustments. Analyze transactions for correct coding and proper
Establish relationships with outside IT consultants to investigate new accounting software/hardware and recommend new systems for
Work closely with IT consultants to implement new systems and ensure all company systems are functioning with current upgrades and
Create and maintain annual overhead budget with monthly reconciliation of variance to actual Review and report variances between project budgets and actual cost.
Create monthly Project Work In Progress and Anticipated Cost Reports.
Produce monthly financial statements and reports for Management
Manage all aspects of cash flow on daily Responsible for the transfer of funds between accounts to ensure maximum income. Liaison with Cash Management department at bank. Reconcile and balance all monthly statements.
Coordinate with outside Accountant quarterly, to prepare corporate financial statements and tax
Work with Insurance Agent to ensure appropriate corporate coverage, including but not limited to: General Liability, Umbrella, Workers Compensation, Auto, Property, and Professional
Create procedures for each process in the accounting department and for other departments as it related to
2017 business transactions projection: $30M. 2018 business transactions projection: $60M.
