Lead Software Developer Job Opening in Bolingbrook, Illinois - Job Summary Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.
Code and Configure UI Reports, SSRS and Crystal Reports.
Execute and manage applications on Microsoft TFS 2015 and Prior versioning including source code, branching, and work items
Educational Requirements: BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
10+ years of on the job work experience
Mentoring of junior developers
Proficiency in C #, , MVC, , WCF, Javascript, HTML5, VB6, Telerik controls and writing procedures in SQL Server 2008 or greater
Hands of experience on any share point version 2010, 2013 or 2016
Experience working in development teams utilizing Agile Methodologies
In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application
Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles
Fluency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, etc.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
Expert/lead technical role. Expert knowledge of the field. Develops large and/or highly complex solutions that require analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or technical leader/consultant. Works on complex tasks, projects or issues that involve a high degree of risk, impacts business unit performance and makes use of the individuals? high level of knowledge within one or more areas of specialty. Coaches and mentors junior technical staff. Works without supervision on the most complex projects. Complete latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires twelve or more years of demonstrated applications development experience with many projects as the application development system designer or technical lead on ?very large? projects, i.e., projects with duration of more than 10,000 hours or spanning more than six months.
