Sales Territory Manager Job Opening in Gainesville, Georgia - MP Equipment has been in business for more than 45 years servicing our partners in the poultry, meat, and seafood industries. We are currently looking to fill a position in our Sales Department. This candidate would cover the Southeast territory of the US. Qualified candidates should have capital equipment sales experience within the poultry industry.
Key responsibilities:
? Act as the lead and first line of communication for all your customers including preparing and distributing quotations, project analysis, and all pertinent information for customer database.
? Develop strategic plans to increase sales and to meet sales objectives.
? Manage the accounts of both current and potential customers in assigned territory or region.
? Represent the entire range of MP Equipment products and services, by becoming an expert in all offerings, to all customers within assigned territory.
? Ensure assigned customers? needs and expectations are met by MP Equipment in all aspects.
? Customer Focus:
? Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in locations within territory.
? Develop new relationships with potential customers to ensure future opportunities are not neglected.
? Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned territory.
? Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
? Become an expert in all customers? processes to ensure recommended solutions meet all customer needs.
? Coordinate projects and customer needs within MP Equipment to include service, manufacturing, management and project management to ensure accurate, timely, and appropriate projects and solutions.
? Assist in recommending marketing materials as needed.
? Prepare, maintain and distribute sales analysis reports. This is to include, but not limited monthly open project reports and new product development suggestions.
? Develop a matrix of communication to track, monitor, and plan all types of communication with active and potential customers.
? Work closely with all MP Equipment departments to heighten the overall customer experience.
