We are a local non-profit who support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live healthy and joyful lives.
We are currently seeking caring people to work awake overnights from 8pm to 8am. The schedules consist of 3 days on and 4 days off with overtime available.

What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)?
DSPs work as part of a health care team. We help people live their lives to the fullest. This may include assistance in all aspects of daily living (cooking, cleaning), personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting), and community inclusion (going to appointments, the grocery store and having fun in the community)! Documentation and communication is essential in this position along with a positive attitude!

Requirements:
Belief in the ability of persons with developmental and other disabilities to integrate into the community.
Strong communication skills , including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language so that the needs of the individuals being supported can be met in relation to appropriate communication with co-workers, pharmacists, doctors, therapists, and others in the community.
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver?s license
Must have no criminal convictions and no records of substantiation that involve abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
Must have no criminal conviction in connection to intentional or knowing conduct that caused, threatened, solicited or created the substantial risk of bodily injury to another person.
Must have no criminal conviction resulting from a sexual act, contact, touching or solicitation in connection to any victim.
Must have no criminal conviction, classified as Class A, B, or C or the equivalent of any of these, or any reckless conduct that caused, threatened, solicited or created the substantial risk of bodily injury to another person within the preceding two years.
Must not be a habitual offender under29-A, M.R.S.§2551-A.
